At The Art Social, we create inspiring, welcoming spaces where both children and adults can explore their creativity, build confidence, and connect with others.

Founded by Laura, a qualified English and History teacher and art enthusiast with over 15 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, The Art Social blends creativity with education through a range of engaging workshops and tutoring options. From kids’ creative writing, Ancient Egypt and immersive learning experiences, to art and drama-based sessions, each class is designed to be interactive, neuroaffirming, enriching, and fun.

We offer both online workshops and in-person sessions.  We provide tutoring (K - HSC) from a home studio in the Northern Rivers, online, a mobile service, as well as occasional adult paint-and-sip style classes.

With a passion for storytelling, art, and creative expression, Laura’s goal is to help students of all ages feel inspired, capable, and connected. Whether it’s writing a first story, exploring history or art in an immersive and really fun way, or simply enjoying the process of creating, The Art Social is about inspiring creativity and a love of learning!
